Angela hailed Horndon on the Hill’s Feast and Fayre “another major success” during her annual visit last weekend.

Angela said she was particularly impressed with the crafts and photography on display and took the opportunity to meet a wide range of local voluntary groups that had stalls.

This year’s theme was the musical hall and many villagers dressed up for the occasion.

Angela said, “there is a real sense of community here in Horndon on the Hill; it takes a lot of hard work on behalf of those who run village societies and sports clubs, the local churches, pubs and shops, but days like the Feast & Fayre must make it all worthwhile, as everyone can see the spirit it creates.” July 09
